House Speaker Tim Moore has re-appointed Representative Hall to serve as the Chairman of the Committee on Rules, Calendar, and Operations of The House.
This committee stands as the most influential committee in the House of Representatives. All legislation under consideration must receive the final approval of this committee before it may proceed to be heard before the House body.
The Rules Committee Chairman sets the calendar for legislative sessions, oversees Member office and seating assignments, and directs many other routine logistics of the House of Representatives.
At the time of his initial appointment to the Rules Committee in 2020, Representative Hall was the youngest Rules Chairman to hold the office since its creation.
Representative Hall is honored to be reappointed Rules Chairman and looks forward to continuing to make the voices of Caldwell and Watauga counties heard in the General Assembly.
