Updated: Jan 4
The legislative session of 2021 saw numerous pieces of legislation presented that dealt with law enforcement and public safety.
Every legislative session the N.C. Sheriffs' Association recognizes certain members for their commitment to improving the law enforcement & public safety environment of our state.
"Representative Hall took a leadership role in advancing the legislative priorities of the North Carolina Sheriff's Association, which represents all 100 sheriffs in the state" said Sheriff Ed McMahon, President of the Association. "As a result, our sheriffs can be assured that the profession of law enforcement will be able to recruit and retain individuals who will served our communities with integrity and that we are better equipped to protect the lives, liberties, and property of North Carolina's citizens."
